This non-vintage Reserve Cuvée is made with a classical composition of 49% Pinot Noir, 36% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier - the proportions favoured by some of the greatest names in Champagne, and is an extremely elegant and fine sparkling wine. Aging for over two years, within a minimum of 24 months on the lees, has given a profound depth and intensity, yet it's also deliciously appealing and very, very sippable! The wine shows great complexity both aromatically and on the palate, expressing ripe red fruit and subtle red apple with great balance, a fine mousse and an excellent lingering finish.

Decanter and Wine GB Silver medal winner 2022. This non-vintage Reserve Cuvée has a minimum of 24 months lees ageing in bottle which is expressed by the toasted autolytic characters of this Pinot dominant blend. The wine shows great complexity both aromatically and on the palate, expressing ripe red fruit and subtle red apple with great balance, a fine mousse and an excellent lingering finish. 

About the producer 

Woodchester Valley was established in 2007 when a single acre was planted on their Amberley site to assess the suitability of the land for growing vines. Their first vintage, a crisp dry Bacchus was produced from the 2010 harvest. This was followed by a further planting in 2011, with the Woodchester site planted in 2012 (20 acres), and Doverow in 2013 (another 20 acres). The winery was established in 2016, with the 2016 vintage being the first year that wines were produced on site.
