A rich, aromatic wine with powerful aromatic spice on the nose, with lychee and grapefruit on the palate, and a long soft spicy finish.

Tasting notes

One of the vineyards flagship wines, made form the largest plantings of this variety in the country. A rich, aromatic wine with powerful aromatic spice on the nose, enhanced by the addition of the skin contact Amber wine, giving a tropical explosion on the nose, with lychee and grapefruit on the palate, and a long soft spicy finish. The 2022 vintage is well balanced with full fruit character and a soft, rounded finish.

WINEMAKING  DETAILS: Gentle pneumatic pressing, yeast 71B, fermented at 16°c in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. 10% of blend skin fermented. Bentonite fining. No MLF. DE Filter, crossflow and membrane 0.45m.
