Tasting notes This Sparkling 2021 Rosé is a vibrant and expressive wine, bursting with the character of summer berries. Aromas of freshly picked raspberries, strawberries, and red apple skins lead into a lively palate of pink grapefruit, citrus, and delicate floral notes of orange blossom. A classic strawberry-and-cream richness adds charm and elegance, while a subtle toasty undertone provides depth and complexity. Sitting just to the north-east of Bath, Tennygrove Vineyard was inspired by watching the movie 'A Good Year' at least annually for the last decade. When Ally and Rupert found themselves with land to spare at their farm with south-facing slopes and rich, loamy soil, there was no option but to plant vines. Tennygrove is poised to produce exceptional grapes that to produce English Sparkling Wine and Rose.
Managed by a team of experienced viticulturists, Tennygrove Vineyard is in full grape growing mode, and they are working carefully to preserve the natural beauty and fertility of the land. From careful soil management to precise pruning and harvesting techniques, every step of the process is designed to maximize the potential of the grapes and produce wines that truly showcase the unique terroir of Somerset.
